The Family Journal provides reliable, researched information to American familes to help them cope with the myriad of problems they face. As far as my qualifications to do this, you can find my complete bio in the Parenting Publications of America- Writer's Database. Over the past 37 years, I have been a husband, father, special education teacher, school psychologist, and adjunct professor in the School of Leadership and Policy Studies at Bowling Green State University. For the past 17 years I have written weekly newspaper columns about family, parenting, educational, and children with learning and/or behavioral difficulties.
